This website stands for diversity and multiplicity in world languages.

Notice how I don't refer to languages other than my mother tongue as "foreign"?! I've decided to reduce my use of that word.

Consider this idea: diverse world languages (and an educated populace who use them) facilitate diverse thoughts and perspectives.

Part of the vision for this site and the entire LANGUAGES101 Network (ENGLISH101, SPANISH101, FRENCH101, GERMAN101, ITALIAN101 and TRANSLATION101) is to nurture the diverse range of world languages, as a means of celebrating our differences, discovering our similarities, and hopefully removing some of the fear and ignorance that festers society.

It may not seem like much, but you can endorse the cause of global harmony and individual liberty by participating in our community, and especially by learning a world language!
